Shopping

You’re minutes away from major shopping complexes to provide you with everything you need for your life in Sydney. A ten-minute walk west and the Pacific Square Shopping Centre has supermarkets like Coles and Aldi with smaller fresh food and grocery retailers including a butcher, baker, fish market, deli, Asian market, and a liquor store. There are over a dozen fast-food restaurants and coffee stalls, as well as fashion stores, hairdressers, medical and health services, banks and a post office. The same distance to the south of be. is Westfield Eastgardens with major department stores like Myer, Kmart, Target and Big W, alongside Hoyts movie cinema, Rebel sports equipment, a fresh food market and a casual dining precinct.

Coogee and Maroubra beaches

Coogee Beach is one of Sydney’s favourites, a great place to swim (be safe!), lie on the beach, watch Australian lifesavers train or start walking along the famous Coogee to Bondi Beach Walk. A 25-minute bus ride from be., it’s paradise! Maroubra Beach is even closer, just a 15-minute bus ride. Its one-kilometre stretch of sand is the longest in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. With numerous parklands, you can use barbecue facilities and picnic tables, take surfing lessons, soak up Australia’s natural beauty and even go fishing.
